The love story of Fred Camp and Rosetta Ferretti is set in Tuscany Italy.

In the backdrop of WWII, the couple like so many others who met and married during the war, they faced separation, fear, and hardship. Threat of death loomed over every waking hour and the inability to communicate made relationship building difficult. Fred was blown up in a building on the front lines where many did not survive.

Rosetta traveled to the US on a war bride ship without being able to speak a word of English after the war ended unsure of whether her husband would meet her at the end of her journey.
